We are turning our HIPs around in just three days from the point of order so there is little or no delay in getting your property on the market.

The delays only really come when people are advised to use a national provider by there estate agent instead of sourcing a trusted local independent. The reason for that is that when using a local provider they are dealing directly with those involved in putting the HIP together.

When sellers go for price and get a cheap national provider it is a bit of a lucky dip as to exactly who will be visiting their home to carry out the EPC and the level of care they will take whilst there.

The nationals tend to pay their surveyors very little so they have to work quickly to fit in as many jobs as they can during the day. This can results in missing important elements that impact badly on the accuracy of the EPC and the HIP.

If you want to get the best most accurate customer centered service it is advisable to use your local independent HIP provider because they work really hard to maintain their businesses reputation.

So my advice is pay a little bit more support your local HIP provider and get a HIP quickly so you can get on with selling your house without delay.
